Lame OCR makes it not usable

I tried five times on a clearly printed receipt, and it never was unable to recognize all the dollar amounts accurately. Its thinking that $8.69 is $.69, refusing to see the number eight. And it missed quite a few items altogether. I cant imagine the items it did recognize would add up to the total. Zero value to me so far.
